history

The brewery property was first mentioned in a document in 1650. Due to weddings and inheritances, the inn and its brewery were owned by several families from 1650 to 1883. Since 1568 the inn has been run under the name "Adler Brewery". Because the owner at the time also took over the post office function in 1817, it was given the name “postal property” and was officially registered. The "Brauerei-Gasthof Hotel Post" has been owned by the same family since January 25, 1883. In 2009 the inn was awarded the " Golden Beer Idea ".

building

The listed building of the inn is a stately hipped roof building with corner pilasters and a figure niche. The two-story house has nine window axes, the entrance is in the middle of the front facing the main street. The house probably dates from the first third of the 19th century.
