The house Lassmann is in Bremen , district Schwachhausen , district Radio Bremen, Schwachhauser Heerstraße 339. The villa was built in 1901/03 according to plans by Friedrich Wellermann and Paul Frölich , Bremen. The building has been a listed building in Bremen since 2014

history

The two-storey residential building with gables, bay windows, loggias and a balcony was built in 1901/03 at the turn of the century for the merchant Gottlieb Lassmann jr. built. The facade is characterized by the gable in the Swiss house style, which was also common in Bremen at the time, or the English country house architecture.

The State Office for Monument Preservation Bremen wrote: "The Lassmann house is a characteristic representative of this 'English' country house architecture on German soil ... very picturesque view ... with a nested floor plan, deliberately staged asymmetries and a complex roof landscape ..."

Today (2018) the house is used for apartments and an office.
