The house at Marställer Platz 7 is a half-timbered building in the old town of Kassel . The Renaissance building is the last remaining half-timbered house in the old town and is now located in the Kassel district of Harleshausen .

Building design

The traufständige half-timbered house has a plastered floor with a lavish portico and six-coupled windows. The two upper floors have decorated corner posts.

The building dates from the end of the 16th century. It was originally located on the corner of Marställer Platz facing the drinking gate. 1902 was removed in the course of widening the gate potions and after Harleshausen translocated . At its current location, it escaped the bombing of Kassel and is now the last known half-timbered house in the lost old town.
