The house Meder is a Grade II listed building in Heidelberg .

The house was built in the first half of the 18th century and has been in the possession of the Meder family, who were resident in Heidelberg as traders, at the latest since 1839.

The three-storey house with a mansard pent roof is located in the eastern half of Hauptstrasse , the most important street in Heidelberg's old town , on the corner of Kettengasse, with the three-axis façade facing Hauptstrasse and the elongated, eight-axis, simpler façade facing Kettengasse. The eye-catcher of the building is the Madonna on the corner of the first floor. It probably comes from the sculptor Peter van den Branden , who also created the Kornmarkt Madonna . Today there is a copy here, the original Madonna is in the Kurpfälzisches Museum . The reliefs on the facade, which depict the Trinity, and two inscriptions: "All hours and times be praised the Holy Trinity" and "Whoever has trusted God built" are also unusual for the time of construction. The splendid town house testifies to the builder's Catholic piety during the Counter Reformation in Heidelberg.
