House Polierstrasse 19 (Dresden)
The house at Polierstrasse 19 in Dresden was built around 1820 according to a design by the architect Gottlob Friedrich Thormeyer . It was a palace-like apartment building and was originally built as a three-wing building. While the central building was three-story, the flanking reserves were only two-story. The middle building was presented like a risalit and was particularly emphasized. There was an arbor on the ground floor , which rested on Doric columns . The upper part of the central building showed a pyramidal joint structure. Inside was a large window with set Doric columns and a triangular tympanum above . The originally raised central building itself was crowned by a triangular gable. The reserves that flanked the presented central building were increased by one floor in 1837. The building was destroyed in 1945.
