House Röhrig

The two-story Haus Röhrig , built in 1789, together with Haus Barthels and Engels-Haus on the edge of the Engelsgarten form an important urban historical building ensemble of the historical center , near Friedrich-Engels-Allee in Wuppertal - Unterbarmen .

The entrepreneur's house, built in the style of the transition from Baroque to Classicism, has facades with striking lattice windows, a mansard roof and central gable. The building is one of the most valuable preserved town houses of the time and is therefore a testimony to the history of Barmen.

The building has been fully protected as a monument since July 4, 1984.
