The Wiegand house is a villa in the Berlin district of Dahlem , Peter-Lenné-Straße 28–30 on the corner of Drygalskistraße . It was built and furnished in 1911/1912 by the architect Peter Behrens for the archaeologist and museum director Theodor Wiegand .

The monumental neoclassical style is unusual for a residential building. The design and ornamentation contain elements from Behrens' industrial architecture as well as references to classical antiquity and Turkey , which presumably reflect Wiegand's influence.

Today the listed villa houses part of the headquarters of the German Archaeological Institute .
