content

As a child, Mao Motomiya did not get along well with her parents and preferred to be with the neighbors, the Nakamuras, who had many children. Here she could always play and had a lot of fun. When Mao's parents divorced, she much preferred to be with the neighbors rather than at home. But one day both parents die and the children of the Nakamuras move to live with relatives. Only Hiro, the oldest, stays in the house. And Mao's father, with whom she lives, finds a new wife who also brings her daughter into the household. The now 18-year-old Mao can no longer stand it at home when Hiro invites her to live with him. She accepts the invitation and is even supported by her father, but life with the six-year-old is more conflictual than expected. Nevertheless, she prefers running the household with Hiro to living past each other with her father and soon her classmates notice positive changes in Mao's behavior. After all, both have to face their feelings for one another.
