prehistory
The collaboration between the two musicians has a 25-year history: In 1994 Tino Eisbrenner's solo album Willkommen in der Welt , produced by Heinz Rudolf Kunze and Heiner Lürig, was released; a second album production of this kind followed in 1999 with the title Stark sein , for which Lürig wrote some compositions. Eisbrenner and his band were also involved as supporting act on several tours of Heinz Rudolf Kunze.
Band name
“A houseboat drifts downstream ... but what is drifted on it swims against the current, so to speak. It is a river of recurrence - the recurrence of thoughts, feelings and sounds that have almost been thought to be extinct. The river marks the border between two countries. One country is called Country (no joke), the other is called Chanson. The houseboat sometimes anchors on one bank, sometimes on the other, but mostly it stays in the golden middle of the fairway. Two captains ... two men with history, with stories. In addition, a couple of ordinary sailors with musical depth. May the people on the banks prick up their ears and listen to what is blowing over from the water. "
