Martin Huch

Martin Huch (* 1953 ) is a German musician , guitarist , producer and photographer . He belonged to the backing band Reinforcement from Heinz Rudolf Kunze .

Life

Martin Huch began his musical career in 1973 with the band Lindener Spezial and played in various bands in the 1970s. In 1979 he became a musician with Head over Heels . As a former country music hater, he of all people developed a preference for the pedal steel guitar.

In the 1980s and 1990s, Huch played primarily for Heinz Rudolf Kunze's reinforcement and at the same time in his country band Lost Mavericks . He was also active as a studio musician and author.

Meanwhile, Martin Huch is guitarist, producer, songwriter and one of the few professional steel guitar and pedal steel guitar musicians in Europe. In his 30 years as a live and studio musician, he worked for artists as diverse as Heinz Rudolf Kunze , Klaus Hoffmann , Cultured Pearls , Reinhard Mey , Herman van Veen , The Land, Sara K. , Die Prinzen and Carl Carlton .

He runs his own studio called Silvertone-Studio . In addition to his reputation as a versatile musician who can also play mandolin and bouzouki , Martin Huch has also made a name for himself as a professional photographer in recent years.
