The men's doubles of the World Championships in doubles and mixed 2004 in squash took place from December 13th to 17th, 2004.
Defending champions from 1997 were Chris Walker and Mark Cairns , who did not run again. The Australians Byron Davis and Cameron White faced local heroes Ritwik Bhattacharya and Saurav Ghosal in the final , who they defeated 9: 4, 9: 3, 8: 9 and 9: 7.
The originally reported Scottish doubles John White and Martin Heath withdrew shortly before the start of the tournament after White suffered a knee injury at the World Championships in singles that had taken place a week earlier .
The field of participants consisted of 16 double pairings, which competed against each other in four groups in round robin mode . The group winners and runners-up made it to the quarter-finals and played out places one to eight in the knockout system . The setting for positions three and four as well as positions five to eight was carried out in the form of a grouped setting. These settlements are therefore given in alphabetical order below.
