Jamie Crombie (born September 13, 1965 in Vermont ) is a former American - Canadian squash player .

Career

Jamie Crombie was active on the PSA World Tour in the 1990s and 2000s . During that time he won five titles on the tour. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with 32nd place.

With the Canadian national team he took part in the World Cup in 1985 , 1987 , 1989 , 1991 , 1993 and 1995 . With the US national team further participations followed in 2003 and 2007 . At the Pan American Games he was part of the Canadian squad in 1995 and 1999 . With the team he won the gold medal both times, in the individual he won bronze in 1995. In 2007 he took part again as part of the US squad in the games.

In 1997 and 1998 he was Canadian runner- up behind Graham Ryding . He reached at least the quarterfinals of the Canadian Championships for 23 years in a row. From 1986 to 1989 he studied at the University of Western Ontario and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics . After his playing career, he started working as a squash coach in the United States.
