Byron Davis (born October 8, 1973 in Australia ) is a former Australian squash player .
Career
Byron Davis was able to reach 14th place in the world rankings in December 1998 as the highest career placement. His greatest successes include the 2004 world title in doubles alongside Cameron White , and the 1998 silver medal at the Commonwealth Games alongside Rodney Eyles . He ended his career in 2000.
Byron Davis has been the full-time national coach and manager of the Australian national team at the Australian Institute of Sport since 2003 . Under him as coach, Australia won the 2003 World Team Championship. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games , Australia's squashers under Davis' direction won a total of eight medals and five more in 2010 .
