Tino Eisbrenner (born November 11, 1962 in Rüdersdorf near Berlin ) is a German songwriter , theater actor, composer, music producer and presenter.

Life

From 1970 to 1973 he lived in Bulgaria because his parents worked there. In 1981 he was accepted to study acting at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . The start of studies should be in 1983. In the same year he and school friends founded the amateur band Jessica , which was named the most popular newcomer band in the GDR in 1984. Therefore he did not start his studies. From 1984 to 1986 the band toured all of the Eastern Bloc countries . In 1986 they released the album player and received a professional card. After conflicts with the general management at the committee for entertainment arts , the band was broken up, as individual members were drafted for military service. Eisbrenner then pursued his solo career from 1987 and the first LP Tino was created (producer Matthias Schramm). In 1988, the reunion of Jessica failed.

In 1987 he worked at theaters with his own Brecht evenings and a Tucholsky program.

After his solo LP was released, he toured Germany, Austria , Nicaragua and the Soviet Union as far as Siberia from 1990 onwards .

From 1992 onwards, Eisbrenner was cultural manager at the Berlin cultural center Pfefferberg . In 1993 he hosted a game show on VOX ; the following year his solo album Willkommen in der Welt , produced by Heinz Rudolf Kunze and Heiner Lürig, was released. In 1995 he organized various chanson programs and he went on a concert tour to the USA . In 1996 various moderations and tours took place.

In 1997 he published his book roller coaster, or how many lives has a star , and he made several reading trips. Between 1996 and 1998 he lived and worked with Mexican Indians. In 1998 Eisbrenner started his Brecht program Everything that Brecht is . The Greenland-Hawaii album of his world music project The Wild Garden was released. Georgi Gogow ( City ), Mattias Lauschus, Tino Eisbrenner and Manfred Henning (City) played in the band . It took place the establishment of BIG CIRCLE int. , An association for the support of indigenous cultures, and Eisbrenner starts a Finland tour with The Wild Garden .

In 1999 he released his solo album Be Strong at Monopol. Eisbrenner also got a supporting role in the TV series Helicops . Another tour of Finland was his book tour, the Arctic Mystery Tour .

The following year he started his third tour of Finland, the Arctic Mistery Tour III. with guest musician Nick Beggs ( Kajagoogoo ) in preparation for his new album. Also in 2000, the Pow Wow Agents agency was founded to organize events with Indian artists.

In 2001 Eisbrenner released his album Lust with Der Wilde Garten and completed several solo tours with Mexican Indians. In 2002 he founded his label Mañana Records . In the same year there was a new edition of the Jessica album player , and the Jessica hit I watch you appeared as a single and as a video. Eisbrenner's solo album Wegen über Land (live) was released. His "Kulturhof" Vier Winde Hof was created in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania from an old farm. Since 2002 the courtyard festival music instead of war has been held there for three days every year at the beginning of August . Guests have so far included IC Falkenberg , Dorit Gäbler , Gojko Mitić , Aurora Lacasa , Barbara Thalheim and Band as well as other artists from Chile, Africa, Bulgaria, France, Great Britain, the USA, Russia, Ukraine, Brazil, Nicaragua and Mexico.

At the closing rally of the Berlin peace demonstration No War on Iraq in 2003, he sang in front of half a million people. His solo album Mango was released in 2004.

In the same year Eisbrenner and the journalist Christian Hentschel re-published the music magazine Melodie und Rhythmus , which was popular in the GDR . He went on a concert and study trip to Chile in 2005. During this tour he visited the Mapuche Indians, for whom he had organized a new school. Back in Germany he started a concert program with Latin American songs in German adaptations. His expanded autobiography From Today to Tomorrow and album No. 9 published in 2005.

Eisbrenner was editor and co-producer of the album Was ist das Leben? - Gojko Mitić speaks Indian texts and thoughts . Because of his many projects, he left the executive team of Melody and Rhythm . He undertook another concert and study trip through Chile in 2006. He signed a consulting contract with the western town of El Dorado Templin . He celebrated his 25th stage anniversary in 2006 at the Neustrelitz Castle Garden Festival , where he symbolically buried some of his old hits. In the same year Eisbrenner released his single El Dorado Song.

In 2007 he founded the mobile Indian school Coyotl. His tenth album Ballads 1992-2007 was released on July 27, 2007.

In 2009 Eisbrenner founded the band Hausboot with the guitarist, composer and producer Heiner Lürig . In November 2009 the album Strom ab was released , the songs would not be difficult and Iron Empire were released as radio singles. The second houseboat album "The River of Time" was released at the end of March 2017, followed in January 2020 by the album The Last Holy Things .

In 2011 Jessica reunited. Tino Eisbrenner, André Drechsler (guitar), Janek Skirecki (bass) and Olaf Becker (drums) played together for the first time in 25 years. The Berlin Frannz Club and the Neubrandenburg freight yard were sold out twice. Morten Luxenburger played for founding member Ralf Böhme (keyboard). An Eisbrenner best-of with the name I watch you - 3 decades of songs, which also contained various remakes and a completely new Jessica song, was published by Sony .

Eisbrenner's “LiteraTouren” began in 2013 for his album Brecht. In 2015 he published his version of Heinrich Heine's Germany. A winter fairy tale and tours with it. His third musical-literary program is called "Eisbrenner's Elective Affinities". For the first time, he did not limit himself to one poet, but brought songs and poems from different centuries together in one evening.

Also in 2015 Tino Eisbrenner released his album Barfuß in Kakteen, which he recorded exclusively with Latin American musicians.

Eisbrenner is married. With his wife, Sofia Eisbrenner, Tino Eisbrenner founded the "Peace Society Music instead of War eV" in 2015

For the anniversary concerts for the release of his first album Spieler (with Jessica), he created the live concept SPIELER30 with old and new colleagues in order to combine his rock / pop hits from 30 years in one show in 2016.
