The game house number or large and small house number is a common dice game . Also known is a game with only one die, known as the high house number .

Rules of the game

House number is a three dice game. The highest possible house number in the litter shown is 631, the smallest is 136.

For this simple game you need:

The number of players is at least two and there is no upper limit.

As with many dice games, you agree beforehand on one of the numerous variants. If the big house number is played, you roll all the dice in a simple version and then sort the dice in such a way that the largest possible number results. The highest number, maximum 666, wins. Conversely, in the game Small House Number, the smallest possible number wins (111).

Common variants

  • First you roll the three dice three times and with each roll you leave the one that seems most favorable to you. If you have sorted out one, you roll the two remaining dice three times, put one aside again and repeat this with the last dice.
  • At the end of the roll, or at the beginning of the action, you can choose where on the house number the number you rolled should appear.
  • At the beginning, the participants agree on a certain number of game rounds. The winner is the one who was successful in the most rounds.
  • You play big and small house numbers alternately.
