As skin vesicles or vesicles ( "bubbles") in which is Dermatology a small accumulation of clear or bloody aqueous (serous) fluid referred to in the skin. Skin vesicles are one of the primary lesions . Blisters are to be separated from accumulations of fluid larger than 5 mm (→ bladder ) or accumulations of pus (→ pustule ).

Blisters can lie under the cornea (subcorneal vesicle), in or under the dermis . Various skin diseases are possible causes . They can occur with infections (for example herpes simplex , herpes zoster (shingles), smallpox ), autoimmune diseases such as pemphigus vulgaris or also with allergic reactions. Bloody vesicles are mainly found in inflammation of the blood vessels ( vasculitis ) or blood clotting disorders .
