A skin horn ( Latin cornu cutaneum ) is an animal horn-shaped outgrowth of the skin, which consists mainly of keratin . The cutaneous horn typically appears in areas exposed to light and can be both benign and malignant. Therefore, it should be surgically removed and examined histologically .
