Haven was a British indie rock band. It was founded in 1998 in Manchester ; originally its members are from Cornwall .
Career
The band was discovered by Johnny Marr , the guitarist of the British cult band The Smiths . The occasion was a chance encounter in a record store: Marr was chatting with the guitarist from Haven about the album Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service . The debut album Between The Senses was released in February 2002. The songs Say Something and Til The End reached the top 40 of the UK charts in 2002.
