The Hawtai Boliger , also Hawtai B35 Baolige , is an SUV made by the Chinese car manufacturer Hawtai . The five-seater made its debut as a concept vehicle at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2010. The production vehicle was presented a year later at the Shanghai Auto Show and was sold on November 21, 2011. The Boliger is based on the first generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe .
Either a 118 kW (160 PS) 1.8-liter gasoline engine or a - rather unusual for Chinese cars - 110 kW (150 PS) 2.0-liter diesel engine takes over the drive . Both variants can optionally be equipped with all-wheel drive . Then the SUV is tied to a 4- speed automatic transmission .
