Haycock formula

The Haycock formula is a mathematical formula for estimating the body surface area A from body size h and body weight m in humans:

The Haycock formula was named after the British nephrologist George B. Haycock . This formula, derived from the data of 81 test persons, is most frequently used in oncology according to the classic DuBois formula and the Mosteller formula . It is considered to be relatively robust and is suitable for calculating the body surface area of ​​both adults and children.
