The Haydar Aliyev Foundation ( Azerbaijani : Heydər Əliyev Fondu ) is a cultural , art , educational and philanthropic foundation in Baku , Azerbaijan , and the largest in this country, which was created in honor of the Azerbaijani statesman Haydar Aliyev (1923-2003) is dedicated.

The main mission of the foundation is to study and promote the life, political activity and ideas of Haydar Aliyev; to support the social, economic, scientific, cultural and humanitarian development in Azerbaijan. The purpose of the foundation is the promotion of science and research, education and training, art and culture, environmental, landscape and monument protection, as well as the public health system in Azerbaijan.

In addition, the purpose of the foundation is to promote Azerbaijan in the cultural, ecological, social and humanitarian areas abroad. The foundation also supports numerous development aid projects in developing countries.

The foundation was established on May 10, 2004 in Baku. The Board consists of the President, the Vice-President, the Executive Director and a panel of experts. The daughter-in-law of Haydar Aliyev and First Lady of Azerbaijan Mihriban Aliyeva has been President and her daughter Leyla Aliyeva has been Vice-President of the Foundation since its inception.
