The Hayes Glacier is a glacier on the Caird coast of the East Antarctic Coatsland . It flows 27 km west-southwest of the Dawson-Lambton Glacier into the southeast part of the Weddell Sea .

The glacier was on November 5, 1967 on a flight of a LC-130 of the United States Navy discovered and photographed. The aerial photographs were used for mapping by the United States Geological Survey . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Commander Winston R. Hayes, the pilot of said LC-130.
