Hazel O'Connor (born May 16, 1955 in Coventry , United Kingdom ) is an English singer-songwriter and actress .

Career

Hazel O'Connor was best known as the leading actress in the 1980 musical film Breaking Glass and for the soundtrack of the same name to the film she composed.

After that, she released a number of other albums and had several roles as an actress in productions for television , but failed to replicate the success of Breaking Glass . Today she lives in Ireland and is still active as a musician and songwriter.
