The Headwall Pond (English for summit wall pond ) is a small and icy pond in the Wright Valley of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . He is inside the labyrinth .
The descriptive naming was done by a team that had taken samples from this pool between 2003 and 2004 as part of the United States Antarctic Program . It is named after its geographical location along a summit wall immediately northeast of Craig Pond .
