Heart of Lions Football Club Ltd. is a Ghanaian football club from Kpandu on the east side of the Volta reservoir in the Volta region .
In the 2009/10 season was fourth in the Ghana Premier League . The current 2010 squad includes the Ghanaian international Stephen Ahorlu , who was also called up for Ghana's team at the 2010 World Cup.
Previously known players are Dominic Adiyiah , John Boye , Haminu Dramani , Samuel Yeboah and the Togolese Komlan Amewou .
In 2005 the club withdrew from the CAF Confederation Cup for financial reasons before the first round , whereupon the CAF issued a three-year ban.
