Heat of the Moment is a 1982 song by Asia written by John Wetton and Geoff Downes . It appeared on the self-titled album and was produced by Mike Stone.

history

On the British release of the song, the song Time Again was used as the B-side . Time Again was written by all band members Geoff Downes , Steve Howe , Carl Palmer and John Wetton and can also be found on the album Asia.

Outside of the UK, the song Ride Easy was used as the B-side for the single . Ride Easy was written by Wetton and Howe. It never appeared on an Asia studio album, but is included in the 1986 EP Aurora, only released in Japan, and on the compilation The Very Best of Asia: Heat of the Moment (1982–1990) . In an interview on the Asia DVD Fantasia: Live in Tokyo , Wetton said that Ride Easy is one of his favorite songs from Asia.

Heat of the Moment was released on April 16, 1982.

In the South Park episode Kenny's Death , Cartman sang the song in Congress.
