Lifting fee
The levy fee is a fee paid by the lawyer or notary for the forwarding of an amount of money that has been received on the foreign money or escrow account , or of valuable items (works of art, jewelry). The fee is based on the amount or the estimated value of the item.
For the notarial sector, the lifting fee is regulated in the Court and Notary Fees Act (fee number 25300). The lawyer can claim lifting fees in accordance with No. 1009 VV-RVG; see Lawyers' Remuneration Act .
