Hedwig Pruin (born February 25, 1939 in Flachsmeer ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Pruin attended elementary school in Flachsmeer and then completed an apprenticeship as a clerk. After nine years of professional activity, she worked as a housewife and mother. She joined the CDU in 1978, for which she was deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association in Leer. In addition, Pruin was a member of the council of the community Westoverledingen and district council member in the district of Leer . In the state elections in 1994, she was elected to the state parliament via the state list, to which she belonged for two terms until 2003.
