Hedwig Tarner

Hedwig Tarner (born October 10, 1960 in Beelen ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life and work

After attending school and graduating from high school , she completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk and then worked as a clerk. From 1983 to 1991 she studied geography at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Münster. She then worked as a research assistant.

Tarner has been a member of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party since 1989. She is active in numerous party bodies.

Hedwig Tarner is a member of the board of the urgewald association .

MPs

From June 1, 1995 to June 1, 2000 Tarner was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . She was elected from her party's national list. She was also represented on the Warendorf City Council from 1989 to 1991 .

Awards

On September 10, 2009, Hedwig Tarner received the Federal Cross of Merit.
