The Hofanlage Hehn 203 a / 203 b is in the district Hehn in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The barn was built in the 18th century, the house at the end of the 19th / beginning of the 20th century. The buildings were entered under No. H 023 on May 14, 1985 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

architecture

The property is a four-sided closed courtyard made of brick, which was expanded in several stages towards the end of the 19th century, including an older half-timbered barn . The gable, two-storey house is connected to the parallel barn opposite by a gate wing that is only slightly set back. The rear part of the courtyard area forms a stable wing attached to the rear of the house , which is extended by a car shelter open to the courtyard with roof storage. The residential building, which towers above the other buildings, has a partial basement.

Worth preserving as a fully preserved example of a rural property that can prove the tradition of rural building, which was still unbroken in the 19th century.
