Hot foil stamping

Hot foil stamping is that the printing process decorative enhancement of a printed matter by means of foils , the coating (eg. B. metallic colors) dissolved out by heat and pressure and is pressed onto the paper or the cardboard. Often this is also used in connection with embossing , for example for cosmetic and praline packs on jewelry boxes . Hot foil stamping can also be combined with relief stamping or embossing in the printing process.
