Heidi Aschl

Heidi Aschl (born June 25, 1953 in Munich ) is a German civil engineer.

Career

After graduating from high school in 1972, she studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Munich and graduated in 1981 as a graduate engineer (Univ.). From 1982 to 1992 she worked in a managerial position in the German branch of a British construction company and in 1993 joined her father's engineering office.

In 1990 she became a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Engineers-Bau , moved up to the board in 1995 and was its president from 2003 to 2007. Since 1995 she has been a member of the Presidium of the Association of German Builders, Architects and Engineers (BDB). She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Architecture Museum at the Technical University of Munich .
