Heights Cave
Heights Cave (also called Calf Hole, Elland Cave or Skythorns Cave) is a cave on private property south of "Malham Moor Lane" and west of Grassington in west North Yorkshire in England .
The cave, the entrance of which is divided into two arches by a supporting rock, was excavated in 1893. A Mesolithic tool was found , composed of a piece of reindeer antler and a boar weapon . Bison , reindeer and bear bones have been found on a lower level . The wall was added by the excavators.
Near Grassington are the Druid's Altar stone circle (Yorkshire) and the Cove Hole (also called Fairy Cave or Tom Lee's Cave).
