Heike Ellermann

Heike Ellermann (* 1945 in Kolmar ) is a German author , illustrator and freelance artist (painting, book art, photography, paper theater ).

Life

Heike Ellermann spent her childhood and school days in Nienburg / Weser . After studying pedagogy and art education in Braunschweig and a one-year stay in France, she began her artistic and exhibition activities. She continued both during her diploma studies in Tübingen and Oldenburg - also afterwards during her work in school service, in adult education and as a lecturer. From 1982 she worked as a freelance painter, from 1987 mainly as an illustrator and author of picture books. Readings and tasks as a lecturer took her to Switzerland, Belarus, Latvia and Slovakia, among others. In her free artistic work, Heike Ellermann expanded her activities to include photography, book art and paper theater. Heike Ellermann works in studios where she lives in Oldenburg and in Languedoc (France).
