Heikki Suhonen

Heikki Suhonen (born June 21, 1951 in Turku , Finland ) is a former Finnish national soccer player .

career

Suhonen started his career at Turku PS . In 1968 he made his debut in the first division. In 1973 he played one season for HJK Helsinki , but then returned to his hometown to play again for TPS. In 1986 he ended his football career.

With 206 goals in 427 games in Mestaruussarja , Suhonen is the record scorer in the Finnish first division. In 1972 and 1979 he was the top scorer.

Suhonen was a Finnish international . In 20 international matches, he was able to score two goals.
