Heiko Jütte

Heiko Jütte (born November 19, 1941 in Bremen ) is a German association official .

Jütte completed a degree in economics and received his doctorate in 1973 from the Chair of Economics at Saarland University with a thesis entitled Contributions to the Discussion of the Wicksell Process . After that he was initially responsible for regional development planning in the planning group of the Prime Minister of Saarland. He later moved to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and was head of the economic policy department. From 1986 to 2006 he was the managing director of the Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry of Saarland (ME Saar), the Association of Saarland Business Associations (VSU) and (since 1998) the Saarland Business Association (UV Saar).

Jütte was alternating chairman of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Saarland and chairman of the advisory board of Bank1Saar. For fifteen years he was chairman of the approval committee of the Bürgschaftsbank Saarland GmbH. From 2003 to 2009 he was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation .
