Mount Roe is a flattened and mostly icy mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . At the southeastern end of the Prince Olav Mountains, it rises 1.5 km northeast of Mount Wells above the western flank of the Liv Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Lieutenant Donald W. Roe Jr. of the United States Navy's VX-6 squadron , who had wintered at McMurdo Station in 1961 and served as the squadron's security officer from 1962 to 1963.
