The Heilbronner observers was a 1930 to 1945 in Heilbronn appearing anti-Semitic regional weekly newspaper , whose editor Wilhelm Kuhlmann was and his editor Jacob Mayer was and as the voice of the Nazis served.

The Heilbronner Beobachter was published with the subtitle Kampfblatt für Recht und Freiheit and stylistically resembled the striker , attack and the Stuttgarter Zeitung, the flame sign . It was directed against Pastor Dr. Stegmann of the Catholic religious community, against communists, against socialists and against the members of the Israelite religious community in Heilbronn.

In an excerpt from the article Jude Bacharach and Der Jude Levi aus dem Fenster , from the May 17, 1930 edition of the paper, the weekly newspaper's anti-Semitic attitude becomes clear:

"Jude Bacharach as a worker-Samaritan: The Workers-Samaritan-Bund (Heilbronn district) organized a march with an exercise on Sunday, May 4th 1930 in Besigheim ... [] ... The exercise ... [] ... was carried out by the Jew Dr. Bacharach from Heilbronn. So, of all people, a Jew takes the training ... [] ... into his own hands ... [] ... The population of Besigheim showed sympathy for the Jew Bacharach ... [] .... This fact gives the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund a special note "

Dr. Julius Bacharach, doctor from Heilbronn and member of israelit. Religious community Heilbronn, worked as a doctor for the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund and was also present in this function during this exercise. Furthermore, the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund is condemned for employing it.

"From ... [] ... it is reported ... Jakob Levi ... from ... fell and died as a result. Levi is the father of the former Social Democratic member of the Reichstag, Paul Levi , who also fell out of a window in Berlin a few months ago "

In addition to Jakob Levi and Julius Bachrach, Max Rosengart was also the subject of the articles in the weekly newspaper. Rosengart then sued Jakob Mayer for insult. Jakob Mayer was represented in the ensuing legal dispute by lawyer Hans Frank , who later became Governor General of Poland.
