The Heiler Software Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary and is based in Detroit , Michigan. Heiler Software also has a branch in Australia (Sydney).
Products
Heiler Software is targeting two markets with its portfolio . In the Product Information Management (PIM) area, a central platform ensures the integration of supplier data and the enrichment of the products with meaningful product descriptions, images and videos. These are used in all marketing and sales channels such as web shops, catalogs, PoS and much more. In the area of electronic procurement , buyers in various industries work with the Heiler Business Catalog or the Heiler Catalog Manager to take over supplier catalogs. This portfolio is supplemented by advice and services. Heiler says it has over 300 major customers in various industries, including Deutsche Telekom, BMW, Puma, Coca-Cola and Saks Fifth Avenue.

The company was founded in 1987 by Rolf J. Heiler, who is the company's CEO. After various individual projects, the development of standard software began in 1990 . The collaboration with SAP began five years later . Heiler developed the SAPscript for SAP / R3.
In 1999 SAP AG and 3i Venture took a share in Heiler Software GmbH. This was followed by the IPO on the Neuer Markt in 2000 . A year later, Rolf J. Heiler founded the subsidiary, the Heiler Software Corporation in Detroit. According to the company, the customer General Motors was decisive for the choice of the location. Heiler has been offering catalogs for electronic procurement, known as e-procurement, since 2002. Heiler Software has also had Product Information Management (PIM) in its portfolio since 2003. In 2006, Heiler took over OKS Software AG in order to also manage and publish media data and images.
In 2008, Heiler Software referred to the “Product Communication” study by LN Consulting, according to which the company was rated as a “leading provider in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA”.
The company increased group sales in the 2007/08 financial year (October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008) from EUR 10.23 million to EUR 12.50 million (+22%) and thus exceeded the previous year's growth of 18%. . In the 2008/09 financial year, the company generated consolidated sales of EUR 11.77 million, which corresponds to a decrease in sales of −6%.
Takeover by Informatica Germany
In October 2012, Informatica took over Heiler Software. The remaining minority shareholders were compensated and excluded by a squeeze-out in May 2013 , and the listing was discontinued shortly afterwards. Heiler was listed in the General Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in the CDAX (Prime All Share, Technologie All Share). Until November 26, 2010 the company was part of the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
Heiler Software AG has been trading as Heiler Software GmbH again since October 23, 2013.
