Heiligenbronn is a hamlet in the village of Salzstetten in the municipality of Waldachtal . The place, which was first mentioned in documents in 1356, is known for its pilgrimage church and former monastery church of the Sorrowful Mother of God . The monastery was a branch of the Heiligenbronn monastery near Schramberg . The pilgrimage church was built and consecrated in 1747. The place name Heiligenbronn comes from the Holy Bronnen , a spring right next to the church.
