Healing the Lame

The healing of a paralyzed man is a biblical miracle story from the third chapter of the Acts of the Apostles (Acts 3: 1–10). According to the story, the apostles Peter and John heal a nameless paralyzed man by asking him to stand up in the name of Jesus the Nazarene .

A paralyzed man sits in front of the so-called beautiful gate of the temple in Jerusalem . He begs for money so that he can make a living, which he cannot build himself. He asks for money to replace a healthy life that has been denied him.

As believing Jews, Peter and John come to prayer in the temple at the ninth hour. Peter asks the lame man to look at him and says: “I have neither gold nor silver.
