The Margarethenried-Hörgertshausen local history museum is a local history museum in Hörgertshausen in the Freising district, which is run by the community .

The local museum was created by the teacher Braun in 1961 in the Margarethenried school and was continued by the teacher Alfons Wörner. After the Margarethenried elementary school was closed in 1969, the Hörgertshausen community provided a room in the Hörgertshausen primary and secondary school for the numerous exhibits. In 2005 it moved to the premises of the former Raiffeisen warehouse in Hörgertshausen.

The local history museum shows agricultural activities from around 1800 on an area of ​​more than 400 m², as well as other objects from subject areas about the way of life of people for around 100 years. A fully furnished living room and bedroom, a kitchen from the 1930s as well as farm vehicles and machines, a shoemaker's workshop and a complete blacksmith's shop can be seen.
