The Heimevernet ( dt. Heimwehr, Eng. Home Guard) with 35,000 members forms the reserve force of the Norwegian armed forces .
1,200 members are on active duty, another 3,500 can be mobilized quickly.

The home network consists of an Army , Air Force and Navy Home Guard, which are divided into 13 Home Guard districts.
Army Home Guard
In addition to supporting the Norwegian army , the Heeresheimwehr also takes on tasks in the field of terrorism prevention and disaster control .
Air Force Home Army
A particular object of Air Force Home Guard is including the physical protection of the facilities of the Air Force .
Marine Home Defense
The Navy Home Guard mainly supports the Navy and Coast Guard in monitoring territorial waters; for this it has about 200 boats.
