Heimo Scheuch

Heimo Scheuch (born October 15, 1966 in Villach ) is an Austrian manager. He has been CEO of Wienerberger AG, the world's largest brick producer and provider of building materials and infrastructure solutions , since 2009 .

Life

Heimo Scheuch grew up in Mühldorf in Mölltal . From there he went to Vienna, Paris and London, where he studied law and economics. In 1993 he received his doctorate from the University of Vienna Dr. iur.

He began his career at the Milan and London based law firm Shook, Hardy & Bacon in corporate finance. In 1996 he joined Wienerberger AG as an assistant to the management board. In 1997 he moved to senior management at Terca Bricks in Belgium and became CEO of Terca in 1999. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2001 and was Chief Operation Officer until 2009. In August 2009, he was appointed CEO of Wienerberger AG by the Supervisory Board.

In addition, Heimo Scheuch is on the supervisory boards of Wiener Börse AG and CEESEG AG, President of the European Association of Bricks and Clay Roof Tiles, Vice President of Cerame-Unie and Construction Products Europe.

Heimo Scheuch is married.
