Heiner Protzmann

Heiner Protzmann (born June 15, 1935 in Leipzig ) is a German classical archaeologist .

Protzmann received his doctorate from the University of Greifswald in 1966 . He was a long-time employee of the sculpture collection of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden , most recently as its director.

Heiner Protzmann is a corresponding member of the German Archaeological Institute .
