The building Heinestraße 4 is a listed residential building in Ballenstedt in Saxony-Anhalt .

The building is located on the southern outskirts of Ballenstedt on the south side of Heinestrasse. The Selketalstieg runs in front of the house .

Architecture and history

The villa was built in the middle of the 19th century in the form of a so-called Swiss house, a design form popular in the Harz at the time of construction. It rests on a base made of plaster blocks. The facade design can be found on all four sides of the building and is paneled with wood in the jamb and the gables . In addition, the upper floor is lavishly decorated with fretwork. The windows on the first floor are framed with stucco. The entrance area, a winter garden and a balcony are arranged on the individual sides of the building .

Inside the building, the room layout is original. Parts of the original equipment are still there.

In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 50145 .
