Heinrich Dittlinger (* around 1440; † between Easter 1478 and 1479) was a Bernese councilor and chronicler .

Life

Heinrich Dittlinger came from the Bernese notable family Dittlinger . From 1463 he was a member of the Grand Council, in 1466 he “denied” his Udel (from Old High German  uodal  , “possession”). In 1474 he appeared for the first time in the toboggan run by the Gesellschaft zu Mittelöwen and became a member of the Small Council. A year later he was involved in the storming of the fortress Les Clées in Orbe . In 1478 he received the bailiwick of Oltigen to manage, but died shortly afterwards. In 1479 it no longer appears in the Easter book (list of election results).

Together with Bendicht Tschachtlan , Dittlinger wrote the so-called Tschachtlan chronicle in 1470 .
