Heinrich Drerup (lawyer)

Heinrich Drerup (born August 23, 1904 , † February 3, 1978 ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Life

Heinrich Drerup studied law at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and was awarded a doctorate in 1929 with his work The Limits of Civil Servants' Duty to Obey. iur. PhD.

From August 1, 1954 to 1969, he was President of the Upper Post Office in Münster . During his tenure, the post office on Domplatz (1956) and the telecommunications office on Oststrasse (1966) were established.

In 1962 he was appointed Knight of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Cardinal Tisserant and invested in Cologne on December 15, 1962 by Lorenz Jaeger , Grand Prior of the German Lieutenancy .

He was a member of the Catholic student associations KStV Ravensberg Münster and KStV Walhalla Würzburg .
