Heinrich Fürnkranz

Heinrich Fürnkranz (born October 31, 1828 in Krems an der Donau , † December 28, 1896 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician.

After high school, he completed a business apprenticeship. From 1848 to 1855 he did his military service and then bought an iron shop in Langenlois .

In 1861 he became mayor of Langenlois and a member of the district road committee and in 1870 a member of the district school council.

In the state election in 1861 against Carl von Hock , he was defeated. In 1871 he did not run for office. In 1890 he and Ernst Vergani had the National Economic Association as a joint election platform . Before the 1896 election he vacillated between the German People's Party and Georg von Schönerer , but ultimately ran for the DVP. In 1891 he joined the German National Party in the Reichsrat .
