Heinrich Faust (meteorologist)

Heinrich Faust (born March 11, 1912 in Darmstadt , † July 3, 1975 in Offenbach am Main ) was a German meteorologist .

Faust studied from 1931 to 1936 at the universities of Munich, Heidelberg and Gießen and was a meteorologist in the weather service from 1938 . In 1942 he received his doctorate in Frankfurt am Main. After completing his doctorate, he served in the Air Force weather service until the end of the Second World War. From 1949 he conducted research at the Central Weather Service in Bad Kissingen and Frankfurt am Main. He published several books and brochures on his research areas.
